Organize an event with another community group

A shared event works best when every participating group knows what it is responsible for and who can make a decision.

Agree on the event’s purpose

Write down the audience, format, and intended outcome. Decide which organization owns the event record, receives payments, handles sponsor agreements, and answers participant questions. Discuss costs and responsibilities before outreach begins.

Give the team one current plan

Name contacts for each partner and record the next actions. Share approved event details and communications so different groups do not publish conflicting dates or offers. Give workspace access only to authorized organizers.

Report back together

Review registrations, attendance, payments, and sponsor fulfillment with the responsible partners. Keep financial arrangements and any separate accounting obligations explicit. CommunityRamp can hold the operational records; the groups must agree how they work together.
